The Gin of Provence

All the scents and colours of our region have inspired the creation of an organic gin from Provence with a southern flavour, Mistello, the first spirit from the distillery Le Vadrouilleur.

Produced from the gentle distillation of local organically grown plants, this gin de provence is a tribute to the South and its subtle aromatic palette. 

It is distilled by hand in a still in the heart of Haute Provence. It is made exclusively using 6 plants : juniper, wormwood, verbena, sage, thyme and lavender.

It reveals a flowery and elegant nose with the lightness of lavender, then the juniper berries give it a vivacity made more complex with the appearance of citrus notes and the warmth of spices. 

On the palate, it is supple and mellow with a buttery nut, supported by the juniper. 

The citrus freshness comes from lemon verbena. Spicy flavours are provided by wormwood and thyme. The sage gives it a round and warm side thanks to its powerful and unique taste.

The unique composition of this gin from Provence gives it a refreshing and soft persistence in the mouth.
